Too Much Fun!

Well, Mrs. Kathy and Mr. Butch ( Dino's parents) bought a Wii! At first, I was really skeptical, but it turned out to be alot of fun! Below are some pics of Dino,Mr. Butch and Hunter( Lori's hubby) rocking out on Guitar Hero!

P.S. I laughed when people said it is a workout, but I woke up Sunday with sore arms!

New Arrivals!

Isabelle Gates and Preston Palczynski arrived in April! Preston was born on April 11th and Isabelle was born on April 27th! We are excited for Katie and Caleb and Karl and Heather!! We are looking forward to spoiling them both!

Portland Elementary's Field Trip to Lakeport Plantation

Last Friday, I took my 4th and 5th graders to visit Lakeport Plantation outside of Lake Village! We had a really great time and the kids were so good and so interested in everything!One of my best friends, Meagan, is interning at Portland this semester, so it has been really fun getting to hang out as "teachers" together!She did really well going on her first "official" Field Trip! Lakeport is the only remaining plantation home on the Mississippi River in Arkansas, so if you ever get a chance to visit it is worth it! Here are a few pics from the trip.... the bed and oven shown are actually 150 years old and belonged to the original owners of the house! Their goal is to keep everything as close as possible to its original look.

P.S. Yes, I am a history dork!!My Mom and I share the love of ,as my Dad puts it," stomping around in old houses" =)

What was I doing 10 years ago? Well, I was in my Senior year of high school without a care in the world!! Gas was only .88 cents/gallon and we tried to drain the gas pumps just "riding around"!!

2. need to make out certificates for winners of Science Fair
3. Do laundry!!
4. sleep

2. Pay off my debts and any family's debts

4. Purchase land in a pretty spot

1. Picking at my nails
2. Letting the laundry pile up
3. internet shopping
4. eating junk food
5. wasting food ( you know, you thaw chicken out only to go out that night, and the next, and the next before you know it that chicken is bad)I stole this one from Angela because we do the same thing all the time!

Look who's Walking!!

We enjoyed Sunday Lunch last weekend with Clay,Brandi,Ella Grace, Mom, and Dad. Ella Grace is growing up so fast! We love this little girl!!!

Saint Patrick's Day!

In honor of the day, I decided to change our background color! Truly, I am really just glad that :
1. I do not have school all week ( Spring Break!!!) and 2. I am not at school today yelling at kids for pinching one another in honor of the day!!=)Have a good week!
