Behind the Name....

Georgia Kathryn is named after her maternal Great Grandmother and her paternal Grandmother! We really did not decide for sure what we would name her until we saw her that morning and it just fit! Funny how once you name your children you can never imagine them being anything but that name! She and Ann Marie are both named for Grandmothers on each side of our family, so they will always have a history behind their names!

Georgia Kathryn Sabbatini

Georgia was born on June 1,2011 at 8:31 a.m. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and she is 18 inches long! I went to work Tuesday and really didn't want to because Ann Marie was not feeling good and Dino was taking her to the doctor that morning and I wanted to go, but off to school I went. I had contractions most of the morning. I called my doctor and ask if I could come in since I already had an appointment for the next day. Poor Dino got back from the doctor with Ann Marie in time to go back with me! We went in and he checked me and I was nothing, so he said come back next week! We left and did some shopping and picked up Ann Marie and came home. Well, I started to notice the contractions were getting stronger about 9 or so. We all went to bed ( well, not me) and by 2:00 a.m. I woke Dino up and said I really think we need to go to the hospital. He woke Ann Marie up and we took her to Nana and Poppee's house. She was a trooper about the whole waking up at 4 in the morning! She saw a kitty cat in our yard and she chatted about that all the way across the lake! We got checked in at the hospital and sweet Georgia was born that morning! She has been a wonderful baby and seems to be really laid back! Ann Marie is being a FABULOUS big sister and I think she is adjusting to another little girl in the house!Ann Marie can already make her smile!! Poor Dino is outnumbered for sure now, but he would not have it any other way! God has blessed us with so much and we are thankful to him each day for two happy, healthy little girls!
