Merry Christmas to all! I hope everyone had a great time! We celebrated Christmas Day with Dino's family this year! We enjoyed a great meal of homemade " red gravy" aka spaghetti sauce to us non-Italians!=) with pasta and deer steak! It was a pretty day outside so we decided to take some pics. It is hard to believe that great weather was here only yesterday! Today has been a dreary, cold, rainy day........ We did get to do something fun today! Our friends, Allison and Dennington and their children , Ella and Landers, went to Florida for Christmas this year, so they enlisted our help to be Santa Claus while they were away! We went to their house today and set up all their toys and filled their stockings! Just seeing Dino fill a Barbie magical vanity with mini sized hairbrushes and makeup was humorous! He did a great job!! We left some crumbs on Santa's cookie tray and left the door to the fireplace ajar! I hope they get some video so we can see their little faces when they come home tomorrow!

My kids at school begged to decorate the Christmas tree in my room this year! I just let them go for it and this is the result........ they really did a pretty good job! Please excuse " Mr. Bones" on the side. They insisted that he will be able to celebrate the holiday season too!=)
Here are some pics of my precious little niece, Ella Grace. She is the sweetest and happiest baby! She was making "eyes" at Uncle Dino! It is hard to believe she will be 1 year old on January 4th. I added a picture we took of her with my grandpa Poole. He is in his 80s and he is an amazing person...... In the past year it has really hit me how lucky I am to have all my grandparents still here with me. Both sets of grandparents are just about the coolest people I have ever met! I can only hope to be as wise as them one day! Enjoy the pics!
For those who don't know, Dino and I got married on February 17th of this year!!!! Since I am a teacher, we decided to take a delayed Honeymoon! We went to Club Med Resort on Columbus Isle on the island of San Salvador in the Bahamas! We went the first week of June and stayed 10 days! The pics are just a few from our trip.......We met a great couple, Stephanie and Bruce, from New York and really enjoyed getting to know them! We also met some really cool folks that work at Club Med! Thanks to Stephanie and Phillipe for making our week sooo fun! Stephanie and Phillipe are both from Canada and have worked all over the world at different Club Med Resorts! The resort is mostly French, so it was fun trying to communicate with everyone......we quickly learned Bonjour and Merci ! I think there was no language barrier when it came to having fun!!! I posted a pic of Dino's favorite friend from the trip ( Mr. Iguana)! We all said that Dino was secretly feeding him because he would only show up when he was outside!haha Anyway, it was really a great honeymoon ......so enjoy the pics!
